when i first got into modding, first thing i did was order a 400 doallar dual exhaust, then on top of that paid like 150 to have it installed
Yeah i think its pointless to buy a kit

The shops can fab you an H pipe as well.
For some people that is not an option, in my city there is no one that has a mandrel bender that wouldn't charge a ridiculous amount.

Shops wanted like $600 just to install longtubes. so i said fuck it and bought

Mac chrome longtubes
Mac o/r shorty h pipe
flowmaster catback with super 40's
bbk 02 extenders
4 new ford exhaust hangars

all new ^^

and a GT rear bumper in the proper color (black)

For everything i paid about $1200 and installed it all myself, if i had taken it to a shop here i would have paid that just for a welded h pipe with stock manifolds, cheap mufflers and the stock bumper.

i think the reason shops don't like to do longtubes is because it involves tampering with the emissions system. i had to pay 300 to have a stainless catless h pipe made with the bungs welded in.
