Valve Cover Crack

Hey just realized that i have a dime size crack in my passenger side valve cover. Also my engine is running rough and i am having a misfire in cylinder 1 could any of this be related. I did just do an EGR delete and i haven’t tuned the car yet so i was assuming the misfire was coming from that but now i wonder if it could any way be related to the hole in my valve cover?

when you do an EGR delete aren't you supposed to drill holes in either side of the valve cover and filter them to allow air to enter and leave as the pressure changes? i could be wrong on that as i haven't looked much into EGR delete. id wait till someone more knowledgeable on the subject says something.

alrgiht but yeah i actually didn't do an egr delete i actually put a new engine in that doesn't have egr so it is a little different but yeah i think my computer is still trying to run it like it has egr could that be cause it to run rough and not have much power?
