So I had exhaust put on today...

Catbacks with 40 series flows, true duals. I have 4 cats and 4 o2 sensors. If i removed the 2 cats that arn't being monitored by the o2 sensors am I going to get a better deeper tone? One of my cats is going bad, but not to the point where it's embarassing at a stop light. I didn't have them go ahead and replace it because I might get rid of them, any suggestions??

I had the exact same setup on my old 2000 and it sounded great to me, as for the cats I have heard that it does not sound good with no cats or in your case fewer cats.

Love the sound especially when you cruise around 3k. But I don't get much tone at idle. Maybe I'm just being nit picky, they did an awesome job. They even let me sit in the bay while they did it.

Thats pretty sweet, I got mine done about 8 months ago and I had aftermarket cats so it did sound really good.

Our cams and compression arent the greatest for sound ... Get yourself a new cam in and that will solve your idle sound issue

well thats not my car but its what the video said. Mac Long tubes with o/r Mac h-pipe and 40's with this this cam.

Note that it's the lump cam listed under the giant NEW

I'm thinking about going catless next summer but I don't want it to sound like balls without them.
I have flow 40s and an h pipe. I just want it to be a bit louder but I don't want it to be much higher pitched either really.

Sounds great, my only problem would be if the sound gets to the driver when driving with closed windows.
