I did it. I like it. I had to add another one when I put the GT throttle body on my windstar.

If you mess it up, yes. You want the spacer just long enough to touch the top of accelerator pedal and the end of the throttle cable. If you have to pull the throttle cable further in to fit the spacer, it's going to hold the TB open.

Yeah I definitely noticed it. I even re-did it with some thicker spacers so the zip ties stay on much better now. For sure a difference over stock.
