Well after further research on the dual thread, I have made some choices on what I'm probably gunna get:
-Stock headers and cats
-Divorced duals(I think this means just two straight pipes from header to muffler, correct me if I'm wrong)
-Thrush Muffler or Flow 40s
-GT take off tail pipes
Lmk what you think of this and around how much it would be.

Sounds like a plan to me. If you don't want to upgrade your midpipe size (stock is 2.25") then you could save some money by having them chop the Y off the stock Y pipe, put the mufflers on, then put the tail pipes on.

Your right about the divorced duals. Probably at a shop around $250. Divorced duals arent hard. You'll probably have to get tail pipes somewhere else. Go find some stainless steel tips somewhere. They arent real expensive.

Need to get me a truck or SUV for the winter. Not looking to take out a loan and the funds are a bit low so I might be keeping the car, at least through the winter. Fucking 4x4 trucks hold their value like crazy around here. Saw an 02 F150 with 220k miles and they still wanted nearly $8k for it. 99's with 140k are going for nearly $10k. They're all V8s with 4 doors though. Trying to avoid losing the rear seat and I'm not settling for a truck with a V6

The shop I got mine done at had the tips right there in stock. I was having the bumper cut because the previous owner burned a hole in, so the guy had to cut the holes bigger than planned and ended up upgrading the tips at no extra charge

But wouldn't the Y pipe be gone since I would be putting divorced ones on?

Currently your exhaust pipes both go towards the rear and around the end of the doors, the passenger side curves over to connect with the drivers side and run as a single pipe into the muffler and out the rear. If you chop the pipe off right before it angles over then chop the other side off at the same length, you can add the mufflers and exhaust tip (might need some extra piping welded on to make it long enough), and you have divorced duals.

You could remove the entire midpipe and have 2 new pipes added, but you'd have to pay for those new pipes. If your current midpipe isn't rusted out, it's just an idea that could save you some money. If you'd rather go with entirely new pipes, feel free to.

How much did you pay for your exhaust online? I payed a little over $400 dollars for mine. It fit like shit. Then eventually, i ended up welding it all. And it still fits like shit. Have you seen the toyota commercial when the salesman opens the trunk? Well, thats what you get with buying from a shop, Peace Of Mind. And a lower price.

Just saw this in another thread. You payed about $600 too much.

your setup is shortys with SLP Loudmouth I and a H pipe?

A shop could have done it soooo much cheaper.

Sorry for the double post by the way.
