windstar manifold and throttle cable mod

everyone with a windstar knows the throttle cable is just a bit to long for this set up. and its not a really big deal for some and it works fine, but the last show i went to a judge pointed out that my cables were unorganized and looked out of place. he didnt even know it wasnt a stock intake ha ha. so i went to junk yard and got a spare, took it apart and shorten it. its really not hard to do. heres some before and after pictures.wonder what that judge will say this sunday LOL.

how did you do it? I need to shorten my throttle cable and lengthen the cruise control cable, its still just hanging there because it holds the throttle half way open

my car is parked so i dont have access to it for a few months.

if you get an 01-04 cable for me and shorten it i will pay you.

it took me weeks to find a 01-04 cable to use for mine and i cant find another local one and i dont want to screw mine up.

here are my cables

in this pic the cruise is hooked up, and its holding the throttle open a bit, causing the car to idle at like 2000 rpm, with it dis connected it idles fine

I think it is because of the spacer that CC is too short.
