My recommendation is to label EVERYTHING. You will NOT remember what goes where for every wire and hose.

Get a cheap digital camera if you don't already have one, and take pictures of EVERYTHING as you take it apart. This can save you hours of trying to figure out how something went together, doing it wrong, and then doing it over.

Take your time. Most screw-ups happen because someone gets in a hurry.

More often than not, it'll be quicker to remove that thing that's in your way than it will be to figure out how to do what you're trying to do and do it while it's still there.

If the car is an automatic, it *may* be easier to remove the engine/tranny as a unit, mount the tranny to the new motor, and stuff the whole thing back in.

Pulled it yesterday. Broke the seal on the tranny and had it lifted up and out ... Grabbed the engine from city yesterday.. Ill throw a pic up in a bit.. its not in bad condition at all.. Going to grab some stuff off my current one and swap it onto the new one.. Just cause some of my stuff still looks cleaner.. >:| Woulda dropped it in today but its football day! XD... Patriots putting a beat down on the Colts right now.

Its nice to know if I blow my engine it won't cost THAT much to get the car running again lol. Prices on these engines are dirt cheap compared to others.

Dad owns a shop called Power Tools near the Junction.. if your familar with that place.. so its sitting in there currently. >:| And yeah... 2011 coming.. 10 yr old engine should be cheap haha..
