Dude, i've gotten as good as 27 out of my GT on the highway at 55mph, cruise set, WITH 3.73 gears and a flash tune. Something isn't right there...

I've been hearing that in quite a few places, im going to check my fluids this weekend, id appreciate it if anyone can give me a check off list of what things to change/check that would help. So far this weekend all I can think of is checking my liquids and my tire pressure.

Just a suggestion. Take it back to the dealer you bought it from and tell the salesman you are getting very poor milage. They may put it on their computer and check it out for you at little or no cost since you bought it from them. Most dealers these days want happy customers and a good reputation.

I didn't think it was that bad, they advertised 17mpg city. Even other articles and various places I searched before getting this car said its 17mpg city. I get 15-16 depending on how i drive. Im having a hard enough time getting the dealership to fix this rock chip in my windshield i didnt see until i went home that night because it seemed to be covered by the sale signs. Im probably just going to buy a DIY kit since its small and not really noticeable, it just bugs me because this is my first car and its my baby >_>

Give it a little time, then tell your insurance company a car in front of you threw up a rock and chipped your windshield. They will send you someware to get it fixed and it will cost you nothing. This is standard with all insurance companies and it has no effect on your insurance premiums.

That's good to hear.... the last thing I want is even for a 1$ extra on my insurance lol. I actually wanted to try a DIY kit. I've been itching to do anything to my car. I even bought dash board wipes and glass cleaner and cleaned my car around midnight lol alot of people were driving by wondering if I was trying to steal this car.

But the mpg. Is everyone really getting 25 CITY?! my 16 average is from CITY driving not Highway and I haven't found one report stating any higher than 17 for a 09 V6.
