Bad noise
Whenever i turn, i hear a sort of clunking noise. Its hard to explain but i guess if anything it sounds like two pieces of metal clanging together? Any one know what this could be and if its a big problem or not?
Thanks |

Yead, I'd replace them. Easy to DIY, not too pricey either. If you're lowered or plan on being so I'd recommend Steeda x2 balljoints. If not, OEM replacement will be fine. The press to remove your old ones can be rented at auto parts stores.

If you feel that way go get estimates at shops. Basically it's getting your wheel off .. which I hope you can do... and removing the brake assembly and spindle to get to the ball joint..again just simple removal, then the press is self explanatory and do the reverse to install.
In my opinion, if you care to learn about the car and want to be able to do thigs yourself, this is a good repair to start with.

Also get a hydraulic jack because it will be easier and a torque wrench for the calipers 23 lbs for the caliper 85lbs for the bracket.

definitely get them fixed as soon as possbile. If that ball joint comes out when you are driving, you're likely going to fuck up your fender and possibly the rim to start.

My wife's car sounded exactly like that and it was the ball joints.
