Couple questions

Ok I have a couple questions on Wideband air fuel gauges.

I am looking to ask for one for christmas. I looked at the LC-1 on Ebay which is a pretty good looking guage. Are there any guages that you would recommend? I want one that works easily to datalog with the XCal 3.

Next question is how does it work if you have dual exhaust. I mean I have tru duals so won't I only weld in the sendor for the gauge in one side of the exhaust? Is this ok?

Finally, I want to get a gauge pod for the gague. I have seen some that look like they hold one gauge on the steering column. I can't seem to find them online, anyone know where I could get one? I already have a dual gauge pod that mounts to my a pillar.

I found the gauge pod that I was looking for at LMR. But I am still curious on the other two things.

Hit up Joe at trick tuners.
He sells wind bands and gauges.

It is just fine if you have dual exhaust. The wide band is only hooked up to one side.

Ok, I was not sure on the dual exhaust. I didn't know if I need some special one since I have two pipes. But I gues that makes sense.

Yea, you don't even mess with your up and down stream sensors when installing a wideband. I weld a new bung hole.

Ok where should I weld in the new bung? Like location wise in the pipe? Is it before cats, between cats, after cats?

I figured in the exhaust. I just didn't know if it mattered location. Well hopefully when I get one it comes with instructions telling where to weld in the bung.

Ok well I was looking at Wideband guages.

I am a little confused. What do I need to be able to hook it up for tuning as a PID? Like I found this Innovate Wideband DB BLUE Gauge Kit with LC-1 3795 NEW: eBay Motors (item 380287949427 end time Nov-17-10 13:18:57 PST)

Will this work if I get a cord to have it hooked in as a PID? I have found this same gauge for around 160 on ebay new with free shipping, that is why I am curious.

I'm running the innovative lc-1 summit brand wb. I have it mounted inside the rear o2 spot since they have beened turned off via tune.

And for only reading one bank at a time thats fine. If the side is off much you will throw a code like bank1 rick or lean etc.

You have to get firewire from any computer store and splice a wideband wire into it. In case you didn't know. It's pretty easy.
