im in minn too! and i have mine going on to storage too. all i did was topped off the gas. made sure the oil was fresh and full. and i just gave her a bath and put moth balls and rat traps around it so they dont decide to make their homes in my car. and remove the battery.

I would put on four jack stands and take wheels off.... This will eliminate any chance of a rat getting up there.. Dryer sheets work good too

Just gas will be fine, id fill it up though.... Look online for the jack points ... there are quite a few spots you can go with

Edit: Accually in your glove compartment or back by the spare tire I believe theres a chart telling you where to put them

If you have a new edge you can put the stands on the rear axle in the back and there is a jack point behind the front tires on each side of the car.

Definitely add some Stabil to the fuel. Consider it cheap insurance.

if you keep gas in it you have to stabilize it otherwise it will go bad after 2-3 months and turn into sludge, very bad, also try and run it some to make sure it gets into the fuel lines too, or drain the tank and run it dry.

too little gas lets condensation build up though. I would have filled it most of the way and put stabil in at the station then driven it home so it gets through the whole system. We store a couple older mustangs and always fill them with gas then use stabil, never have any problems in the spring... (except for the damn ethanol in gas that eats away at everything rubber in the older cars...)
