cooling system problem

About 2 weeks after buying my 95 mustang (not gt) everything on it was fine then suddenly i was driving it on the interstate and BOOM!!! I pulled off at the next exit and discovered that my top radiator hose blew out. I replaced it and put new coolant in it. the car still acted up and i ended up replacing the thermostat. car was running fine then yesterday it started acting up and when i popped the hood the hose i replaced was sucked flat and after prying the radiator cap off it went back to normal and there was almost no water in it. there is no water in the oil and no smoke out the exhaust so i ruled out cracked heads but im not sure what it could be. before the hose blew i had no problems out of the car at all.

Did you make sure you filled up the entire coolant system with antifreeze because it sounds like you filled up the resovoir and took off. Your suposed to let the engine bleed out all the air before actually driving the car

fill the radiator with water put the top on run the car for about 20 minutes or untill it gets to operating temperature and then with the car still running pop the radiator cap off (be careful it will be hot) and then top the water off in the radiator than fill your resovoir. Then you will be ready to drive
