Boost Gauge


I have a V6 mustang, in order to have a boost gauge do i need to have a supercharger or anything or will it work with regular engine.

boost gauge mesures the boost or air going into the engine from forced induction( turbo or supercharger) . You could put a boost guage on your car but it wouldnt move to the boost, it would still be stuck in the vac, as air is being draw in from your engine not forced in.

So basicly dont waste your money. If you want a boost guage drop the money on fi and get one

unless you have a turbo or supercharger there is no real use or purpose for a boot gauge... unless you like rice

I know a guy who has 3 a pillar gauges in his grand prix se that he tells everyone is a GTP. None of the gauges are even hooked up lol

it will give you a better idea if you have a vacuum leak...otherwise pointless money spent.
