New car
Hey guys, I just got a Sonic Blue 2003 Mustang V6. I'm new to the forums, but I'd like to just introduce myself and ask a question. What are some good, cheap mods I might want to do since I'll have some free time in the winter? I purchased some blue LED dome lights on ebay and also bought footwell LED strips, I plan on installing them tomorrow. But what else could I do thats inexpensive, for performance and appearance?
THANKS, Jake. |

Welcome! Study up on the links posted, and on your car alltogether. Know as much as possible about the car, and determine where it lacks (from YOUR point of view). If you can tell us what you want more of (i.e. better handling, quicker acceleration, etc.) its easier to point you in the right direction.
Everyone wants to jump into "what mods" threads and throw out the basics that everyone suggests without knowing what you acutally want to do with the car, what your budget is, what your mechanical skill is, etc. Have a goal or goals for the car first, then its easier to determine what, if anything, needs to be done.

A good start for performance would be exhaust, tuner and gears. Gears and t-lok will give you the best bang for you buck so you should consider those
