OK HERE GOES MY 05 4.0 THE BATTERY IS GOING DEAD WAS RUNNING FINE
JUST HAD TO JUMP IT WOULD BE OK THEN DEAD AGAIN.http://www.moddedmustangs.com/forums...lies/frown.gif

NOW BAT WAS DEAD OVER NITE PUT CHARGER ON IT TURNS OVER WONT START
I DONT HAVE A CLUE ANY BODY

Check the alternator.

Try jump starting it again, A reoccuring dead battery can mean its worn out. Might need to buy a new one.
Check battery cables, and the part that attatches to the terminal. Sometimes being just a hair loose is to much. My friends 5.0 died at school the otherday cause of that. Bad connections that is.
Alternator will be your 3rd option. It has about 3 bolts and 1 or 2 plugs. Loosen your belt, take off the alternator and take it to a O'Rielly or Autozone type place. They should have an alternator tester to see if its going bad or not. You dont want to be driving at 1:00 AM and it complete go out like mine did a few months ago ... Not fun Jump starting and driving about 50 yds and having to do it all again, your headlights suck the juice like crazy ....
