Blower kit mod a procharger off a 2V onto my V6

I know you are all going to flame me but thats what happens in all my threads

p600b blower mustang gt

So what would it take to get that onto my 3.8 and how much of it will be useful to me. I can actually afford this as opposed to the 4 thousand dollar minimum a turbo is going to end up costing me.

ESG clidefrog and southfor please be nice.

Why not buy something meant for your car? Cheaper in long run, easier to maintain and fix if necessary. There are s/c kits for sixxers.

The reason that I want to know is because I will need custom piping to the windstar intake so im going to have to make something even if i get a v6 kit, there are a few GT kits for sale in Canada and shipping would be significantly cheaper if its not over the border.

Actually if this guy is willing to ship i might buy everything but the headunit.

I wouldn't put a pb600 on my lawn mower....

That being said call procharger ask them if that will bolt up to the v6 mustang bracketry, if they say yes then you will need the blower + the brackets, an intercooler, some pipeing, belts, blow off / buy pass valve. And pray the blower isn't leaking and needs a rebuild.

With a v6 kit, you'd only have to replace maybe 3 feet of tubing (going from the passenger fenderwell to the tb). With the gt kit, you'll need the v6 bracket plus ALL the tubing. . . .Still seems easier to find a used kit meant for a v6.

What happened to your blower? I tried looking for the thread you made but clicking the link to your user profile takes you to a different member. You might want to have a mod fix that

Im assuming yours is a non intercooled kit

nevermind, i figured out how to get to your profile and found the thread, does vortech still have the blower or did they send it back to you?

Is the housing good? I might be able to use it for an experiment of cutting off the curved pipe and welding it straight.
