Welcome to MM my friend.
First off, where are the pics
Second, what thing would you like to add? Are you going for looks, or performance ?
Third, at the top of the thread list are a few "Sticky" threads, you'll want to go through those before anything. Rules, and if your wanting some performance, the "Look here before asking about Mods" sticky is the place to go
Fourth, the "Search" button will answer 95% of your questions about anything. Use it

Once again welcome to MM and congrats on your new car

Congrats and welcome to MM.

Only thing i can say, is research, find out exactly what your buying, and dont buy a cold air intake. It will save you some $$.

Auto or Stick ?
You need to check out the Mod sticky, that'll be your best/first start to performance mods.

And please, (even though most of us do it from time to time), If you have a questio, try searching about it a few times. Chances are its been asked. You'll just catch alot of hell for asking something thats been asked 4538635834137569587063 times

Just an FYI

Lol I just saved alot of people telling you that, wont be surprised if someone says it again though lol

Auto huh me too I miss my 5speed. O well they are nice to

My recommend as first performance purchase:
Tuner. SCT handheld SF3/X3.
Mustang Parts & Performance - American Muscle is a great site to get started at.

Tuner will wake up your Auto like no other. And maybe needed for future mods.

Do your research now

How does a tuner make that much difference in a stock V6?
I just bought an 09 V6 Mustang and I want to tweak somethings around without breaking warranty or my entire car. Im mostly gonna work on the visuals but a small performance upgrade wouldn't hurt. Im starving for knowledge and I love this site btw. =)

works very well on autos because it firms up the shifts and adjusts the shift points. the stock auto on a 3.8 shifts way to early at WOT

think of it this way...on your model stang you'll need a tuner for just about every mod you add to your car...so its a good first purchase

Doesn't shifting early save a bit on mpg?

Does tuning void your warranty? I want to open my engine a bit more, my concern for mpg is there but is not a deal breaker for me lol unless i drop from 15mpg to 8 LOL

if your getting anywhere under 22-24mpg in your car you either have a lead foor or issues with the car

... the tuner at WOT will shift harder and higher ... you dont have to WOT ... if you drive it normal, it will shift normal ... So really it only makes it easier to use more fuel All depends on the driver.

But when you wanna have fun, the tuner on an auto is your numba 1.

HP/TQ increase? IDK the numbers, probably doesnt do alot would be my guess
but if you want a fun auto hit up the tuner ...
