Why go through all of that trouble? Drill/grind em out, fill with weld, grind smooth.

I wouldn't put JB inside of my lower intake.

It's not all that easy to remove them as a do it yourselfer at home. They are stainless and your not going to drill them by hand without breaking an arm lol. I grind them out with a carbide cutter by hand and still dont get all the insert out, thats why i use epoxie. If you wanted to drill them you would have to mount it on a bridgeport and use a carbide cutter to remove it completely, then you could weld it up. I've checked on my epoxie several time and have no issues. The only reason i would weld one is if it was all out race with major boost. JMO

hmm, all i have is a 32v cordless drill, i have a dremel though could i get a cutter for that? it goes to 5k rpm

or i might buy a cheap one from pick n pull and practice on it. It really sucks pulling it from the car in -20* c weather though

So epoxy is fine? I would have figured otherwise with how hot the lowers can get combined with the extreme amount of heat cycles.
