OUCH! I would rather spend $34 on a pool cue retro style and save the rest of the money for hookers, coke, and beer.

It's pretty cool but I doubt I'd spend $200 on one. If I had a lot of money to blow I guess. And I was already done modding my car otherwise.

Like I said is it "cool" and not stupid idc about the 200.00 stupid I was leaning towards stupid looking or not the norm but yea I agree 200.00 is up there but I'm not doing much modding when I get it well nothing to $$$$ in the short run....

It does look cool but I completely agree. I could tell you what gear my car is based on speed/RPM, not to mention shifting just becomes second nature after a while. For a beginner this would be a cool idea, but an expensive way to learn. I used to have a 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a tiptronic transmission that kept track of what gear you're on the instrument panel (digitally).

You have to wire it up to the transmission or something. I glanced over the install guide when the first listed it on their site.

Looking at the instructions, you have to program it...the computer learns the position of each gear when you do so.

I really don't like it at all. The concept is pointless(you always know what gear you're in anyways) and it way over-complicates one of the simplest parts of your car, the shift knob.

Why not? -Because the opportunity cost. That $200 could go toward a lot of other actually useful upgrades.

I'm sure there's something out there that could do that. It probably wouldn't be the most popular item on the market so it might take some digging to find it (you'd probably have to go with a universal one). If you can dream something up (that would actually work on a car) then someone out there can make it.

Stalling is for newbies who don't like the gas pedal I've stalled my Mustang maybe 3 or 4 times, all when I was learning to drive it. A buddy of mine just got a 96 F150 with a 4.9L straight 6 and a 5 speed transmission. He's new to driving a stick and it was funny as hell watching him try to drive it. He never wanted to give it much gas so takeoffs were always jerky and he hadn't gotten the hang of rev matching so downshifts were rough

Autozone. But I fixed it to be threaded instead of the POS setscrew.
