Hood Scoop Opinions
I own an '01 in mineral gray and I plan on getting a hood scoop for it. How do you guys think it would look if I got the hood scoop in black?
http://rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=1363 I was also going to get these decals which lead me to thinking about the hood scoop in black. * Graphic Express - 1999-2004 Mustang Hood Stripes * Graphic Express - 1999-2003 Mustang Hood Stripes Thanks guys! |

a black hood scoop would be fine, but those graphics are pretty ugly if you ask me.

Nice find but why does paint cost so much I will be picking one up for my 02 mineral gray and I will probably just blackout some other stuff to make it match

Alright thanks guys. I think I'm going to go with the matching scoop. What would you guys go with decal wise then? I was also considering these:
1999-2004 Mustang Boss style Claw Fader Hood Kit - * Graphic Express - 1999-2004 Mustang GT, Bullitt, Boss Style Claw and Fader Hood Decal set. 1999-2004 Mustang 'C' Stripe Kits - * Graphic Express - 1999-2004 Mustang Side 'C' stripe side body stripe * Graphic Express - 1999-2004 Mustang Side 'C' stripe side body stripe obviously I wouldnt be able to get the first two together because they'd overlap. Thanks guys. |

I am not a fan of any of those.
If I was considering graphics of any sort, it would be like these. ![]() Now those are painted on, but they were originally a vinyl C Stripe. I am not sure where she got the original kit from though.

I agree on the hood scoop, car color looks good, black looks tacky unless you have a black car or a mach one shaker hood. Then do like blackout decklid and stuff like that or stripes instead of decals like that. That is my opinion.

If you have black rims I could see a black hood scoop. Otherwise it wouldn't look right.

Even still, to me any mismatching body parts look like they don't belong. It looks tacky and cheap to me. The only thing that looks nice with a black hood scoop is a mach one. That is my opinion. It looks ricerish and just like junk with mismatching body parts.

That doesn't look as bad. Still not for me IMO, I like the hood vent thing, that looks sweet.
