Uh. Stock? Remanufactured ones are cheap and easy to find. Works fine.

If you go with anything other than stock aren't you going to need to buy two instead of one though?

You might also want to look into having a local brake shop work on it. I had a sized caliper and they were able to get it working for $20.

Do it yourself. Go to your local oriely's or auto parts store get a caliper.

All you have to do is remove the old one two bolts, then the line, then install line and new copper washer on line. Then install pads, tighten two bracket bolts. And bleed the lines. It will cost you maybe 50 bucks total.

A lot of shops won't work on it because if the caliper fails and causes an accident they are held reliable... Best bet is buying set of two calipers for the front I think

True on the above, most shops will replace them instead of reman them.

EDIT: Also there is nothing wrong with reman ones. They will work perfectly fine. There is almost no wear on a caliper. The only thing is dirt and stuff and then leaky seals. Other than that nothing, the pistons are plastic. A reman one replaces all of that.

Just get new ones from one of the auto parts stores as listed...remanufactured parts are fine, but for me, I like the piece of mind that they are new. If you haven't replaced the other side recently, then go ahead and get two of them and do both sides at the same time. The other side is probably looking at seizing too...it's got the same wear on it. I know when I had issues with my it started on the driver side. That one started locking up...replaced it. About 8 months later I had the passenger one lock up on the road and burn it up. Not fun having a caliper catch fire and losing all brakes...

thanks for the help guys but i think we all got mis directed somewhere ill be more specific

I know how to replace it thanks though code

The only local auto parts store here is selling ONE caliper for 380$ INCLUDING core, which is why im trying to find a pair of them online be it after market or not that should be more of an accurate price. Ford wont order me the part and NOT install it because they are assholes and they want like 200$ for installation of a fucking caliper.

That said, i CANNOT find any V6 caliper's in any online stores, they all appear to be cobra brakes or cobra upgrade kits. If you all happen to know of any please let me know
