HORSE S&%!


after the bad news that ford gave me about needing a entire rear end... i went out and got a 2nd opinion and they said the same thing... so this sucks!! Can some one post some sites where i can find a 8.8? i dont care if its new or used (id b best used)... id b great if it could come from a GT so that way i wouldnt hav to buy the posi... thanks guys!

iv been looking around here and have had no luck @ all... iv seen ppl post some sites i just cnt find them... and my computer is being and not letting me run a good old google search... so any help would b appreciated

the ford place is full of asss holes!!! i called them just now and ask if they could put a 8.8 rear end in w/ 31 spine axles and they told me they cant do custom work when i told them its not custom and it should bolt up just like a 7.5 would they wouldnt believe me!! wtf do i do now? damn this sucks

Umm call another mechanic and get them to do it it will be cheaper, and if you need to go to ford tell them to suck your balls and put your rear end in that they told you you needed.

some how it got twisted and the axle is rubbing against the rear end... it makes a very annoying sound like nails on a chalk board and everynow and then is very loud

wait don't you already have gears and t-lok? Just have them get you a 7.5 and switch all that over.

Nah thats BS my ford dealer begged me to let them do my gears but they wanted to much. The only thing they can't do is a custom tune or any custom work that will void a warranty. And you know you will need new gears for the 8.8 right?

i do but if i get a 50-200 shot, power pak, and a s/c... i doubt the 7.5 will hold up

True I am scared mine is going to break and i don't even have full bolt ons, but I have nasty hard shifts.
