Hmm, think Ill go ahead and order my wheels today. That's one thing I was wondering about. With 17's, is the investment in dropping it something that would make much of a difference. Looking at your car, I'm not sure for me it would be worth it. I can always tie my springs shorter after I have the new wheels on it and see if it's what I want to do.
After I get the new rubber on, will post a pick. And thanks for the welcome.
I have read the posts in this thread 3 or 4 times at least. By refreshing it, I can easily find it and think about what I want to do to my ride.
Next year I'm hoping for new paint and upholstery.

our cars are 4x4's....lowering is great on any wheel setup....look at Kron1c's signature...he's on 17's and riding stock height (i know i'll cut them sooner or later...)

I cut my springs with an angle grinder about a year ago. Everything is still fine. I wouldn't go race with them, but they are fine for dd driving. 1.5 coils front and back

Thx Kronic. My other project I'm working on gets the nasty treatment from people who support the guys work. It's given me something to do.
Sounded about like the same ol'.
Am wondering, do springs have to be cut to fit a seat on the control arm or the body ? I think with the way Ford designed the wheel wells, over sized wheels and a little drop would help with the aesthetics.
