i have been driving through a car tour one time... for like three hours and it was bumper to bumper and i loved it my five speed rocked and it was just so much fun... i have an after market clutch too... but i didn't put it on so i don't know what kind it is...

uhh and my car i don't have to dump per say to get a nice 20 foot streak and a good cloud of smoke... i just rev it up from a weak dump and it does well...

So is this abnormally low performance for a mustang? I just thought this is how weak they all were.
I don't know if the 2000's are much different than the 01's, but i have an automatic and it's completely stock and i can smoke the tires damn good from a dead stop. All i do is turn the traction control off and use the first two gears or whatever. Then just stomp on it

Make sure TC is off. Before my blower I could very easily break my tire(s) loose into a burnout from a 5-10 mph roll going wot in first, shift into second and keep them roasting until I grab third. That was with 17" rims and 245/45 F1s. With my 16" rims and 225/55 BFGs it was hard to keep them from breaking traction in 1st and 2nd. I have a manual trans.

well you guys are talking about roasting the tires on autos, and your not using the brake at all?? My car can not do this, what mods do you guys have, or if none, what is wrong with my car?

I have exhaust, CAI, and a tuner, and a shift kit. but just slam it and you will burn a bit.
