Ive always loved checking out NRE's TT cars, they make some monster DD/Strip cars !!!
I just ran across this video of a 4.3L TT putting over 1000hp

I cant seem to find an article, im at work and not all links work. That maybe my issue...

Those guys are sick... Look up the Shelby Code Red they designed.. It might be in the Shelby sales magazine next year

yes they are the code red is weak compared to the normal though ...

What's the point they probably get like 11 MPG

just kidding thats awesome I want one anyway you could probably fix it with gearing, tuning and lowering the PSI.
actually thats a good question is it possible to make a TT 3.8 then get an 8 speed steep transmission, good fuel tune and turn off the boost and get 20 city 30 highway?

That is a gm 4.3l v6. Not a stroked ford 3.8.

Also that is on an engine dyno. The numbers from a chasis dyno will read much lower. If that engine were in a running vehicle with auto trans, non locking converter, etc...it would probablly make around 800 to the wheels.

Well yeah it is. But they are running 2000hp set ups on other cars .. I would think that engine has much more potential than 1000hp
But hey this is new to them, so as they try out new things we'll see what happens !
cant wait to see some numbers w/ race gas

And sure a 4.3 stroker can put some numbers like that down too
