Its up to you really. Without the third piece you have to cut the square out of the middle of the grill yourself. With the third piece you won't have to cut your stock grill up.

I'm doing the same thing, and I like to keep things reverseable, so I'm getting the third piece. Just my 2 cents.

I'd get the 3 piece, as it covers the bumper where as it looks bare and weird without it. Also, as said, its good to be able to return things to stock form easily.

I used the AM piece, no tape needed here either. I even painted mine and had no issues. As for the 3rd piece-I highly recommend it. Makes installing way easier.

And the 3rd LED brake light I like it.

Also guys, I tinted a a spare tail light housing, not finish w/ it yet, but I plugged in and took pics. Go to my photobucket link in my sig to check it out, tell me what you guys think.

OK, this is for a select few people in the room - the "third piece" is NOT the flat part that is taped onto the bumper in the above picture. it is the shell behind the running horse emblem.

Grill delete kit from AM - 2 pieces. Flat bumper plate and new corral-less pony emblem:

Third piece @ $35 extra. Two choices here - cut the square hole in yours or buy theirs with the hole precut. The new pony that comes with the kit gets clipped onto that shell in the hole that is (or will be) cut. AM's is just molded a bit better and is pre-cut making your life easier.

Back of running pony - clip shown:
