2011 v6 problem dying
Hello everyone! I just bought a new 2011 mustang v6 2 weeks ago. The car has been perfect until this friday night. My wife and I went to leave and when I started the car it ran fine for about 20 seconds and all of a sudden it shut off.Well I restarted the car and it wouldnt fire up but would only turn over and over and over and when I let go of the key it kept trying to start on its own.I turned the key back and tried again and it fired up and ran for another 20-30 seconds and died again.This time when it died it was like it ran on 3 cylinders and missed really bad and then shut off. I waited for about 30 minutes and refired the car and drove it for a couple miles and ran fine..next morning I started the car and drove it 60 miles back to the dealer and the mechanic said he ran dynostics and said no codes in ecm. they said they couldnt fix it if there wasnt anything showing up but only if it would do it again for them so they kept my car and gave me a loaner..Anyone with this problem please let me know..THANKYOU!!

Yea I only know of the clutch issue...so it still has warranty make them fix it.

yeah they have the car and so far they said they couldnt find anything wrong...I said I wouldnt have brought it to you if it was fine. This will be a classic episode of we got your money so piss off

sounds like the 11 v6s are gonna have lots of problems with them if they're messing up right off the lot..

I've sold 12 2011 Mustangs both 5.0's an 3.7's since May and I haven't had a since one come back with problems yet...

2011 v6 problem
Well I got my mustang back today.The fuel pump control module was bad.They put a whole new unit in the car and went over it with a fine tooth comb. If anyone else starts having starting issues take it on in and tell them what you have read on hear..I printed a page off this web site and took it to the dealer and let them see what everyone had talked about and the owner was blowed away. He said that they havent even heard about the clutch issues and that was a first on the fuel control module.He said it made their job easy because they could start looking at 1 area and not a 1000 areas. THANKYOU FOR ALL THAT RESPONED TO MY POST!!
