Fog light install
Okay so I'm getting tired of having fog lights and not being able to turn them on. They have been on the car since I bought it. They're factory style but I don't think they have an OE style connector. Theyre not hooked up and there is no switch. Anyway my question is somewhere I was told that my generation mustang was wired for every option from the factory, I don't rember the exact term that was used but I was wondering if this was true or not. If I rember correctly I think it has the connectors for the lights which may have to be removed since it has two different types on conectors.

Im asking if the wiring for the fog lights is actually there or will I have to put it in? And yes they are aftermarket lights they are just factory looking.

check the fuse box right under the dash on the drivers side to see if they ran the wire there

Not sure if you have the connections honestly. Just clip off the connectors on the light, and run it to a dummy switch inside the cab. Just wire it properly. Inline fuse, ground.. ect...

$65 for 2 light sockets and a relay? wow - just wow.
You're still splicing everything and the OEM switch isn't even included. you can get all those parts from Autozone, Advance, Pep Boys, etc. for half that with the exception of the OEM switch. _

My 04 has a wiring harness connected to the "dummy" switch... I'm not so sure about the rest of the wires that connect to the fog lamps itself. I couldn't find the damn thing! I guess I just didn't have the patience to look hard enough. So I decided to run a universal fog light wiring harness off of eBay for $20, works fine.... then recently I bought the OEM fog light switch... now it looks like the real OEM fogs!
