Thats what I was thinking but Im going to have to borrow money to do that, I dont really have the cash at this point, I'm tired of spinning my tires everywhere though, especially since losing traction was the reason I crashed.

Not unless the frame is bent. Insurance alone would kill me, Im 20 and they wanted 5g's for full coverage (too much money, I couldn't afford collision) on this car and I have a clean driving record, I couldn't even imagine what it would be like if I had a GT. I can probably get quarter panel fixed for about $500 and Im just going to order a new wheel from American Muscle. My guess is that I will have the car fixed for about $1500+/- depending on a lot of factors.

should be to bad, if your getting a 8.8, it will bolt right up apart from minor modifications. I hear its about as simple as taking the old one out. But yes, this all depends on your frame.

just do to axle? or entire rear..

If it's just an axle..

Remove wheel
Remove caliper
Remove rotor
Remove ABS WS sensor
Remove differential cover
Drain gear oil out of differential
Push axle inwards
Pull out C clip
Put new axle in
Put new C clip in
Put differential cover back on using a liquid gasket
Fill with Gear Oil using the drain plug
Put ABS sensor back in
Put rotor back on
Put caliper back on
Put wheel back on

Rough time estimate I'd say 30-45 if you know what the parts are and have tools in hand. ABS sensor is going to take the longest.. Don't bend the magnetic rod or your need a new sensor
