Weird (Starting Questions)

Ok I know that my battery needs to charge some more considering that the car barely turned over when I went to start it. Currently -3 Degrees out here lol. But any ways, when the car did start after a bout 10 - 13 turns, but then the gauges, all of them, shot up to there max points. Speedo past 120, RPS past 8K, Fuel to F ect... Then they dropped back down to zero. After about a second the the gauges went through the start up procedure like normal. I've never seen this be for, is there a reason?

BTW, My Theft light was flashing a little bit faster than normal before I put the key in.

That typically only happens when you've disconnected/reconnected the battery. I wouldn't worry too much about it, due to the air temps you're experiencing. Basically, your battery is "giving it all it's got" to start the engine at those temps.

^ yep.

You may want to invest in a battery with a higher cca rating for the future; or a block heater.

I got one of the best interstate batteries, so I'm hoping its only low on charge. I'll put the charger on when I get home. BTW, whats this block heater you mentioned?
