If you accidentally knocked one of the hoses from the radiator then it will do that for a little while. The little tiny one to the radiator cap. I accidentally knocked that one off, and put it back on. It had white smoke out of the exhaust for a little while, but it did die down. If your timing is way off it will either have detonation or it will be pinging. Are you throwing any CEL codes? How long did if you have the car running for to notice the white smoke, and did you turn it off right away or let it run for a little while?

yeah when i took the engine apart i took the lil hose off from the radiator cap off and what not. but its blowing a pretty decent amout of smoke out the ass end. as far as the timing goes...it sounds like its missing or something...also i did purchase rebuilt heads....maybe it takes a while to work the oil into them and the lifters/pushrods and shit? im not sure what CEL codes are....is that like the Check Engine Light? if so i cant check it even if i am due to the fact that i dont have a code reader. and the smoke was almost immediate out the tail pipe and i let it run for like a minute then shut it off......could it be possible theres still antifreeze in theoil pan? because i didnt drop the pan cuz im a dumbass i guess

stick your hand infront of the exhaust can u feel the moisture or can u smell the antifreeze if so then your new head gaskets are probably leaking as well which is a total bummer... did u get the heads machined and checked for cracks?

Yea the CEL is check engine light. If that is on get your car to Advanced auto parts or somewhere that reads them for free, or use another car, and buy an obdII reader. Trust me when I did that I had my exhaust unhooked from my y-pipe, and I had a ton of smoke out the back. Check your spark plugs, and check your wires for any problems for it sounding like it is mis firing but that would cause your cel to come on. I had my car running for more than a minute to see if the smoke would go away, and i revved it thinking it would get it out faster. To be honest that just sounds like the problem I had.

I just let the car run for a little while, and it sorted itself out. If it is off time you can drive the car, but I would get it checked out asap to find out. Detonation can kill your engine after a while. Where the heads rebuilt to stock specs? Or what? Also is the company really reputable? If you are worried about them I would get them checked out.

well see when the head gasket blew in the first place all the anti freeze drained into the exhaust.....and i looked under the car while it was running and it looks like theres a lil drippage from the muffler, could that be from when it blew and its just what hasnt evaporated/ burned off yet?and its blowing that out right now? and the smoke kind of smells like oil?.....but i opened my radiator cap to check my antifreeze while the engine is running and the antifreeze isnt going anywhere....its def full....so its not leaking...and its blowing white smoke which is usually antifreeze/coolant right? what should it do man?

could possibly be just unburnt/unevaporated antifreeze. If your check engine light isn't comming on just let the car run for a little while, and see if it clears that up

I took my car for a drive around the subdivision. To be honest I really don't think you have any thing to worry about.

did you place the head gasket on the right way? With a head gasket there is only one tiny hole that doesn't line up both was so that could be your problem.

nah man actually.....everything seems to be fine now.....looks like it was only coolant in the muffler/exhaust from when the gasket blew cuz now its not smoking :knock on wood: and the whole timing thing i thought was off was actually the pulleys i believe. but i think im gonna get it checked out anyway....and thanks on the congrats. it was a rough....6-7 days lol ....but when all said and done its all in one piece again...i just hope its actually working right now. cuz with my luck.....as soon as i believe that i fixed it....it will def fuck up again. also one question...being that i just replaced the heads and all gaskets and what not....should i be keeping the engine at a lower running RPMs for a while or no? just a thought. thanks for everyones help and support and im sure ill be back lol
