ok....so would it be a better idea to just get the full dual exhaust containing the h-pipe/ or x-pipe....40 series mufflers...and new headers

if you're looking for "let me wake my neighbors when I start my car" loud but still sounds ok then yes, new exhaust. If you're getting a new catback and midpipe you might as well get long tubes since you will have to replace your midpipe in the future if you decided to get them later. Just get the long tubes, midpipe (H or X, catless) and catbacks from your brand.

exhaust

O/R H pipe and 40s sounds good and is "loud". it is loud enough to get you a noise violation if you romp on it past a cop but isnt riduicously loud or really loud for that matter.

Its a six theres a spectrum

"good sound"-------------------------------------------------------------Loud

choose

Magnapacks sound pretty good on sixers and is load with or w/o a off road pipe and i recommend an h on a 6

AB has the o/R h and magnapacks and has a video on youtube of it

You want loud that sounds fucking rad AND scares the shyt out of people?

Longtube headers. Thats it. Run that bytch open. bwahaha.

I had to go a week like this to save up money on getting the rest of the exhaust backon after the header swap. I never really thought it was that bad. I mean, yea, it turned quite a few heads, but once my mother came to me saying the ppl were complaining, I had to get everything back on quick. It sure was fun though!! =D

If you want them, go for it. But honestly, glasspacks sound like shit on our cars. But, if you do it up right with an O/R H pipe, LT Headers, and a nice sized cam, it can sound REAL good.

wasnt referring to open headers, he was referring to headers-to-collecter. open headers is completely different.
