i have a 98 3.8L v6 mustang. i was wondering, what do i have to change out in order to get twin turbo working right?

you would probably be better off buying a short or longblock from somewhere like rpm-mustangs.com or supersix

well technically,

You would not have to change anything just install the turbos

technically you have to at least cut and weld on new flanges on the exhaust manifolds so technically you do have to change something.

how many miles can u have on ur engine and safely put a twin turbo on it. my engine has 70,000. would it be safe to do it at say 80,000 cuz thats whn ill have the cash for it.

Personally I would not add any poweradders like a TT or a S/C with that many miles on it. You engine is tired by then. I would buy a new engine (new 3.8 or for the same price get a 4.2) and put it on then. If you dont want to do that, Get Forged Internals, and at least a stage 2+ power pak for it.

Then how is he gonna get the turbo on the exhaust manifolds? Rectangle flanges vs. Circular... I don't think that fits to well.

But who am I to guess?

His twin turbo kit you need to get some new ac lines, or delete your ac, and also relocate your abs if you have it.

I think 99+ are all equipped with abs standard I do know the 94-98 v6's don't have abs.

Good way to check go out somewhere in a large empty place put water down over a large area. Drive over it at a semi slow/decent speed, and slam on the brakes. If your wheels lock up. You don't have it. Well thats how I would check. The ABS thing is somewhere by the front of your block I think on the right hand side if your looking at it.
