My 94 V6 wont start . Need help

im new here and just need a place to ask questions to people who understand my mustang better then i do.

anyway my car wont start . the battery is fine , i charged it and is almost new. its not the starter and i had this problem in another car of mine and it ended up being the distributor cap. i dont believe this car uses a distributor system so i was wondering what else could it be ?
any help is appreciated . thank you

You check the fuel pump? Does it turn over or does it just click. Give us more detail so we can help you.

yes , when i turn the key half way i hear the fuel pump kick on , also it will start maybe once every 10 tries and has no problem running once its started.

Maybe a new coilpack. when you get it running what does it sounds like. bad idle? check the main wire pack that goes to the coil pack as well as the plug wires.

when it runs it sounds fine . yesterday i bought new wires plugs and coil pack . im gonna try that fix and ill let u know what happens . thanks for ur help
