8.8 rear yes or no?


I found a 8.8 rear with 3.73's and t-lok for $100. Only thing is its out of a 89 mustang...will this fit fine on my 99 v6?

i want to answer yes but im not 100% positive i think their is something with the axles being a bit to short

sn-95s are wider i believe by like an inch(ish)

i dont kno the exact number

I wasnt asking if I should buy it...I was wondering how it would fit and how much of a hassle it would be.

you may need longer axles. but for that price sounds beat to death.

put a 302 in it... my friend is doing that but he isn't very car smart... he just knows the basics... so i don't know how he is managing this swap

yea... well it sounds like a fun project ... on the other hand... my brothers jetta isn't so much... he doesn't wanna take it any where unless he has to so ima be the main mechanic on it T_T but its german and i have trouble understanding it...

its funny he got it with a bad lower main seal
