i know of some places that you can get a tranny from ... but im not sure how much more work would be required cuz its an 06...
check summit and jegs and see how much their trannies are new... and if you like what kinda numbers you are getting from them then you might be able to set up an estimate for your self... remember you need a clutch and fly wheel as well... as well as a ton of linkage and some handy work... what makes you wanna change? and why void the warranty?

o and the manager at my dealership is cool, he knows about all of ym upgrades and isnt voiding my warranty, i might just ask him how much the stock tranny is for the 6 and see if i can get it directly from ford

truthfully a swap wont be practical as far as the cost, now if ur looking for some mechanic exp. as well then go for it.
personally i would take off ur mods, trade in for a Manuel (which are usually cheaper than the auto) and replace yours mods. plus since ur kool with the guy at the dealership he'll prolly give u a good trade in value. |

i know the 06 is electric Throttle but is it also electric/mechanical shift? or hydrological/mechanical if its electric stick shift its going to cost you an amr and a leg trade your ride in for a manual and pay the difference and it will cost yah about the same is doing a tranny swap if its hydrological/mechanical.... that way u also know everything works as it should.
