Don't cut. Just buy lowering springs.

That's coming from a guy who has cut them. And now has lowering springs on the way..

Yeah. Well, ive heard good things from quite a few people about cutting springs. And its not a big deal for me because my car is just a dd right now. But if i ever owned a car with over 300rwhp, id definetly buy performance springs.

Don't cut more that 3/4 of a coil.

If your springs get heated incorrectly the spring steel stiffens up and the springs can snap under a load

Your car is going to ride like ass if you cut the springs. Especially if you cut one more than the other. Since those springs are progressive, you're going to make one side much stiffer than the other.

I suggest buying new springs, check out ebay.

Never buy from ebay...

Getting new lowering springs wouldn't solve the dilemma...

Why? I buy from ebay all the time, and have never had a single problem. I put together the turbo charger on my old 240sx on ebay parts and that fucker is still pumping 14psi for my buddy that I sold it to.

Just use common sense on what you buy, and beware of used and generic China made stuff.

As far as the sagging, pull the springs off both sides and check and see if one is higher than the other, then swap the springs sides. If the sagging doesn't switch sides....I'd look into your sway bar and end links

Mine bottoms out like crazy. I cut a coil and removed all the ISOs. It also rides like shiiiiiit.

I'm switching to FR B-springs and New ISOs all around.
