Alignment has finally pissed me off.
So I lowered my car a little more. (No isolaters) and not the front springs aren't even (if they were before) I can put two fingers in the gap
in the driver side and 3 in the passenger side. Looking at it one lower control arm is positioned higher than the other. the alignment shop that i originally had it done at could not get it aligned....but as close as they could. I see no damage in the strut tower brace of any other suspension parts. My car is still under there alignment warranty but there machine I a little dated.. My question is should I take it to like sears and use there alignment machine that can judge the hight of the vehicle rather than just the correct alignment for the car? I really dont what to pay to have it aligned again but if it will fix it I will. cliffnotes.....none

I mean, its not pulling to either side is it? Its just a half inch difference in wheel gap? If its not really affecting ride quality, then forget about it. I can fit my whole arm in the gap

lol i understand. I'd take it back to them or just take it somewhere else. I guess i just take for granted the fact that my dad works at a ford dealership and i can get my car aligned for free. |

I really dont what to pay to have it aligned again but if it will fix it I will. cliffnotes.....none [/QUOTEhad same problem when i bought my 99 6er, infact same side. i figured it was wore out componets. after replacing everything, struts ball joints bump steer bushings springs ect... it still saged on driver side front. at that point i didnt even tried to align it yet cus i just couldnt live with the sag, just roughted it in, lucky for me i had a top notch race suspension guy helping me. we made a 3/8 aluim plate to go on top of spring on that side.that corrected the ride height issue. and i used isolaters. i still had a little bit of a problem with alignment nothing real bad,so i just removed some weight from front of car to get it up above the parking bumpers.. i can put my alignment any were i want. but i think your sag and your alignment problem may be two different issues. anyhow thats how i fixed my sagging left side, and i am not going to the race track hope this helps.

![]() @99 So maybe putting and isolator on the driver side would level it out?

maybe you should go to sears. But first got the the original shop and see if you can get some of your money back based on the fact that they failed. |

he already had someone look at it, they dont know jack. do you really think sears got there act together? if you want to fix the sag your going to have to do it yourself.
its not like a isolator or shim is going to throw you out in left feild. its not a race car and its not going to affect your daily driver alignment. i'm saying its a common problem with alot of 99/2000. maybe we should do a pole and find out how many 99/04 sag on one side.

Mines a 2003 and it sags on one side. IDK what thats all about.... The shop aligned it twice once without the CC plates and with the CC plates. Its not that they didnt know what they were doing its just the alignment machine is dated. They got a new one but idk if they would try again since its the 3rd time. To me it looks like the lower control arm is higher (would post a picture but im at school and not at home).
My problem I like the stance the lower one gives. But I dont know if I should cut a little of the passenger side... or just put the ios on the driver side. I need a index finger width (no tap measure around me).
