i'd rather have a built auto that gets me consistant times on the 1/4 mile

I don't really have much desire for the quarter mile. I'd rather have a car that's more fun to drive and gives me more control over shift points/firmness.

dropping a manual I can do in under an hour getting it back in is quick too but never dropped an auto in one of these but that would be the only hard part

Just letting you know, if you know someone half way in between us where we could meet and do the swap, we could work out the details.

And 6er, I have a handheld but it still isn't any fun. I like driving really easy most of the time just because that's how I am (and to get gas mileage) but then when I want to get on it when I turn onto a road, it's already locked in 2nd. Then if you want a hard, fast shift you're frying your tires 1-2 and 2-3. Which I don't always want and s never good on any kind of a corner. Just my opinion though, each to his own. It's just hard to have the best of both without a stick.

no...i crashed my v6 before getting to it

however i did race my friends v6 on the 1/8th quite a bit...my carpy mods were intake, exhaust, and some nice back tires...his mods were intake, exhaust, jmod, sct 93 tune, tlok, 4.10 gears, $1200 in suspension mods lol, was on 18" chrome saleens...

i ran high 10's and he ran 10 flat consistantly

now he has a windstar added so i can't wait to run him again.
