i gotta woot...

Had the car for a couple weeks now, and I have a woot... yes, a woot...
Going thru the gears, more noticably on gearing up, when I let the clutch out, there's a "woot" sound... any ideas?

uhoh... I'm starting to think that even if i said I thot i had dead body in my trunk for about a week and its starting to smell, and was looking for advice... someone is STILL BOUND to say something about my WHEELS!...

Just kidding. Do you have a link for those wheels you were talking about, and do you have any idea what that noise might be from my clutch???...

Are you sure its not just your engine making that noise? If not, then you prolly just need a new clutch. They meat could of just worn away on it. Dont worry about what others say about your rims. If you like em, then they are fine.

i actually sort of like the rims, sorry i know i'm off topic, but they're different, and mostly all mustangs look very traditional and very much alike. I like the rims, lol.

and for the woot thing, maybe im thinking of a completely different sound but, maybe its ur engine suckin in air or something lol

maybe its the wheels? try changing the wheels maybe the woot will go away.... just a thought or maybe its people yelling woot when they see the wheels, no clue what it really is though sorry, i actually kinda like the rim but they look kinda big

I don't think it's the engine... the noise only happens when the clutch is being used, like when you let the clutch OUT it makes that noise. It's not a grinding, and it's not the turbo, and it's not whining, and it's not a particularly big noise either, but it's there...
hard to describe, that's why i called it a woot, cause that's how it sounds to me.....

Nope, it all seems smooth and works fine, except for that noise, like a slipping or whirring kinda noise....

do you have a CIA cause it could be that. when you downshift and let the clutch out mine makes a kinda whisle sound. is that what your talking about?
