egr delete?

is it beneficial to delete your egr? will you still pass emissions? will it throw any codes?

Beneficial..eh idk I doubt it. Emissions no. Codes I'm not sure, but I don't think so.

keep it, you will not be able to pass emissions, it will cause your O2s to go out faster, and that will throw a code and kill your mpg, and you can clean them when they get clogged, but I've never had that happen so I'm not sure how, I'm sure someone on here does though

Slight (1-2 hp) Won't pass emissions, and will throw codes without a tune.

I just removed mine.. I have a handheld programmer so it threw no codes.. Gas mileage won't be shit.

Did you remove the pcv with the egr also? We just capped off the egr copper pipe because I wanted to finish the cam quicker

Don't have to. But I forgot about the PCV so previous statement is invalid. I still have PCV. But no, you don't HAVE to remove it. But I about to slap some breathers on it.

Where did you run the green line coming out of the pcv? I have it just hanging there.

The upstream one controls the air fuel ratio, it get the debris regardless. The downstream monitor the catalytic converter but need to be there or at lease have the plug filled. I cant remember but I think it sits in the precat which dosent offer allot of protection (upstream).

Im not sure what your asking? You wont pass emissions if done by a sniffer. Still wont pass visual unless you put fake cats on. You will pass the scanner test but if you dont have fake cats youll fail the visual. As far as the engine light on it wont hurt your car or fuel consumption.
