coolant....problems

Yea well I got a new mustang a couple months ago and the anti freeze was needing a change....

so I changed it finally a wk or so ago and I go to check it and well its hard to explain wat it looked like/felt like

Well its turned to an organge/rustic color
Felt like it had a film like feel to it like oil has some how leaked into it and I check m?y intake gasket seem like the gasket is 100% fine ...checked the oil and it appears I havnt lossed any amount of iol

Also has a VERY VERY slight gritty feel but I mean you don't always feel it

Any suggestion...??
The guy I bougt it from saiys it need a heater core soon so mabey... the heater core is..rustin inside out which explains the rustic color and gritty feel

Do a flush. It could be just crap sitting around inside and now has come loose from you changing it out. Dont spend the money and time on the heater core til you know its bad-- do you have hot heat? heat at all?. Plus if you need a heater core, you can always by pas it.

flushing it will help a lot, also what color coolant do you use? i have found that the green works WAY better than the orange.
