finally my exhaust arrived

i finally found a set of mac lt's and they were delivered on fri. now im just waiting on warmer weather to do the full exhaust install. when i took the headers out of the box i noticed some rust on the inside of the primaries. it looks like it goes all the way down to the collectors. Should i be worried about this. they are the ceramic coated ones but i doubt the inside is coated. it looks like just surface rust. i can wipe it off with my finger on the parts i can reach. also do i use the oem gaskets with the lt's or do i need different ones?

Looks nice man, Mac lt's are defiantly worth it As far as the stuff on the inside of the headers I wouldn't worry too much about it, and you can always use same carb cleaner and try and clean it out if you think it needs to be done. As for gaskets oem I think would fit, if no get one that fits. What mufflers btw?

Update: After finally getting all the parts and finally getting a wkd free from work, i installed the lt's and h-pipe yesterday and my uncle is going to put the mufflers and tailpipes on tomorrow. i ran into a problem wit the passenger upstream O2 sensor. replaced the oems wit denso and the beveled edge on the sensor flatten the threads and cross threaded. got the sensor out and used a chaser to fix the threads. i tried the old oem and it fit so im off to the dealership in the morning. fingers crossed for a vid tmw

in case someone is wondering the difference in stockers vs lt's

yes u have to keep the upstream o2s and u do need a tune for the LTs. i bought a handheld from AM and cut the rear o2s off. good luck on the install.

an extra vid ps. the backfire is from a crossed plug wire.
