Horrible man....I'd recommend you get much more familiar with cars before doing internal mods.

the cam is part of the internals of the motor

Agreed...The best way would be to find someone who knows what they're doing and will let you do the work and instruct you. That way you'll learn a ton. That's what I'm doing with my motor. Complete bottom end rebuild at my buddys house. Of course my engine is a hell of a lot easier to work on
