... well if your taillights and brake lights work, im guessing its not a fuse ...
Check wiring to bulb. If you have a meter, check and see if its getting power... Next would be a guess of whatever switch engages when you put it in R needs to be checked ... |

Ever heard of a fuse? Auto or manual? Could be that the reverse light switch is not plugged in.

If its JUST the reverse lights not working, and the brake lights work...put the car in reverse (ignition on, engine off) and have someone stand behind the car to let you know when the reverse lights come on.
Then crawl under the car (properly supported, or however you do it so you can get under it to fiddle w/ the tranny). There are 2(?) wires (on my car I think there is 2) attached to the driver's side exterior of the tranny. Wiggle, unplug, and replug it a few times. I think its white iirc. The light should flick on if its the right switch. If so, clean it off and get some Dielectric grease to put on it and then re-install (make sure it works when you re-attach it). Then go in and out of reverse several times to make sure it works. If this works, you can donate some moneys to my Vortech/Intercooler build fund
