Exhaust Tips

So I got my duals done recently... I'm loving the sound and the overall appearance upgrade that it projects.... But somehow, I'm not 100% happy with the exhaust tips... I have the traditional 3" slant cut tips.

I'm thinking about switching to straight cut tips... Don't have to be brand named tips... IDK...

Any ideas? Pull them out a little more? Go bigger tips? Input my peeps!

Go with rolled tips imo. I have 3.5" slant cut right now and if I ever redo my exhaust I'm going with rolled tips. They look cleaner imo

Looks good... But are those slant cut or straights?

Yours are installed pretty much perfect. Nice car. Rolled tips will look even nicer. As long as they completely fill the bumper openings and those 3.5" look outstanding. Maybe go for some even thicker around the rolled edge. Congrats!

From the way your pics look, i think if you pull them out a little it would look better IMO. I have slanted (non rolled) 3 inch tips and they are out a little further than yours. Then again, i dont have the GT bumper with the cutouts so that could make a work of difference.

Thanks guys...

So if rolled tips look nicer... Why the he'll do we still have regular slant cuts?! Lol

So no straight cuts then?

I'm just curious... Does the termi rear bumper have the same exhaust cut out appearance as the GT's? (see first pic)

This is my friend's GT. His are magnaflows... They're neither slanted nor straight... I think they're 3.5"s. These are the only pics of his car that I have so bear with me...

IMO, just go on magnaflow's website and look at their tips and see what you like. I plan on getting either some nice rolled 45 tips or just some regular slant cuts. I can't decide yet.
Definitely 3.5 inch though.

The ones your friend has in that pic is probably a 15 degree rolled tip.

If I had a GT rear bumper I would honestly go with 4" tips. My friend had a magnaflow catback on his v6, the tips were big as hell, slant cut. They looked mean.

I think 4" is a bit big on the stock v6 rear bumper.
