HID light problem in NKY

I have HID lights and fog lights that are wired to the same switch which is my light switch and my fog lights dont turn on. what could it be if one of my fog lights are out does it trigger the other one not to work. I am not used to these lights(I LOVE THEM) but no one around me works on them I live in NKY. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

No if one is out, it will be the only one out. Check your grounds

the wiring is probably tricking the car into thinking the brights are on, causing the fogs to turn off.

my guess.

The wiring for your HID's is wrong, switch around the wires in the plug that connects to your factory harness.

No, there should be a connector that goes from your hid harness into your factory headlight harness, in your engine bay.
The wires going into that connector are wrong. I had the problem with my brights being reversed and the high beam light being on when I initially wired my kit.
