Brake question

So i'm changing my brake pads and I started last night, this my first time doing them and I got the 2 bolts off the caliper and took the caliper off but realize i don't have the tool to push the piston back into the caliper so I put it back together and went and got it now I think i got of the screws that holds the caliper (13mm bolt) stuck i'm really hard and it's not coming lose what do i do?????

Start out by hitting the bolts with some PB Blaster (comes in a spray can). That shit works wonders for loosening up stuck bolts. If that doesn't work, try using a longer wrench/ratchet or sticking a piece of pipe over the wrench/ratchet (that is longer) and use it for leverage. The bigger the wrench/ratchet, the more power and leverage you have.

Just a note on this to the OP, make sure you're twisting it the right way. I've snapped a bolt because I was standing opposite of the bolt and twisting it left, which was technically right if I had the head of the bolt facing me. Dumb mistake

Which side did you start on before you realized that you did not have a brake tool? Drivers or passengers?

Over night? 30 minutes is quite a while imo. I usually spray it on a bolt and give it maybe 5 minutes while I remove other bolts in the area.

If you're facing the rotor, I believe you should be twisting to the right. It's reversed because you're on the opposite side of the bolt
