dont know what to do anymore

Last couple of day my car has started to overheat again and I can't think of anything that could be causing it. I changed thermostat, water pump, drained and flushed radiator, also changed head gaskets.

I don't know what do..

When you were filling the radiator with coolant, did you open the top bolt above the thermostat? That is the highest point in the system and must be open while filling to remove any air.

Did you perhaps check the ECT sensor to make sure it works? How do you know it is over heating? It the gauge just saying it, or is it smoking and boiling over and shit?

Whip out the breakout box and a DMM. (Unless of coarse you have OBD II which I doubt in a 95) Sounds like the sensor is tricking you. Either the sensor is bad or the wires leading to/from the sensor and messed up. That or it is genuinely over heating.

i replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor and i seem to stumbled upon another problem my check engine light came on. i got it check out, it said open or shorted sensor. and i checked the connector and its getting 5v.

any1 know why it would be saying that even though its a new sensor?
