toggle switch

where would a good place for me to put a toggle switch for my underglow

I'm guessing under the steering wheel somewhere... Or under the radio by your shifter

inside the center console compartment, next to the aux power... something like this:

Go buy a 94-00 OEM fog light switch and use that.

I'd suggest ebay or something, the pic is just for reference.

Im not sure what type of swich your planing on getting but ive seen something like this once before. It was a reverse glow gauge and he had a knob that turned much like your thermostat knob and it would change the color between green/blue and in between. He placed his to the right of the wheel. Im not sure how hard the install work but it looked somewhat natural to someone who didnt know the stock interior of a mustang.

I forgot about that haha.. if you get the swich then that would most likely be the best place to install it at for sure.
